Statement: My line of "Trouble in Paradise ties" were developed as a result of an art quilt I made titled "Trouble in Paradise." I was in the middle of creating the background for this piece which featured a blend of images of a tropic paradise and comic book characters doing battle, when my husband suggested that it would be great as a tie. So I actually sliced some of my art quilt background off and turn it into ties. The first one my husband claimed for his own!
